PREDICT IN TEAMS (PITs) VIP BETA TESTERS PRIZE COMPETITION: TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
Who can enter:
Prize competition open to UK and Ireland residents who download and play the Predict In Teams game to their Android device. Directors, employees of the promoter, their immediate families, and anyone else professionally connected with the prize competition are ineligible to participate. Any internal tester accounts will be excluded. Participants will require a Android device compatible with the PITs game in order to play the game and be eligible for entry, and by playing the game will also need to agree to the games general terms and conditions (here).
The competition week:
The objective of this promotion is to encourage use of the Predict In Teams game during the BETA public testing phase and to reward those that participate with the chance to win a prize. The competition week will begin at 00:01 GMT on the Monday following 10,000 predictions having been made in the game by all players. The competition week will end on the following Sunday at 23:59 GMT. Given that the game is in a testing phase, should any technical issue arise that may lead the promoter to postpone the competition the promoter has the discretion to do this. Any such postponement will be publicised via the promoters website and social media channels.
The promoter will regular publicise, via its website and social media channels, progress towards the 10,000 prediction target and announce when this has been met and the competition week will begin.
Winner selection & contact:
The winning team will be the team that is top of the Predict In Teams standings at the end of the competition week. If a internal testing team associated to the promoter is top of the standings, they will be removed and this process will continue until a team not associated to the promoter is top.
The standings are calculated by summing all the points gained by the teams top 100 predictions in that week. Further additional predictions that are not in the teams top 100 are excluded.
The standings table is available to view in game during and after the competition week.
The promoter will publish the final standings table for the competition week, after any adjustments to remove internal test teams, by 23:59 GMT on its website and social media channels, in then process announcing the winning team.
How to enter:
In order to enter the competition participants should actively play the game during the competition week. By making predictions in the game on football matches and horse races the participant will obtain points for their team based on the accuracy of those predictions. Each game user has 10 free predictions every week, so a full team of 10 users can make 100 free predictions in any given week. Users can also make in-app purchases that can enable them to make up to 10 extra predictions in a game week. Regardless, only a teams best 100 predictions are counted, which may or may not include purchased predictions. Therefore the competition can be entered for free.
Postponed football matches or horse races will be removed from the games database and any predictions returned to the users. It is a players responsibility to make themselves aware of postponed games and re-use those predictions.
Prize:
10 prizes of £100 electronic Amazon vouchers.
Each member of the winning team will receive a GB£100 electronic Amazon.co.uk voucher distributed to the email with which they have signed up to for the game.
It is the participant's responsibility to ensure they sign up with a correct email address. Prize will not be sent to any other email than that registered, under any circumstances.
